Documenting High-Detail Conditions
Our customers frequently ask us to capture fine levels of detail in order to document existing historical elements. Organizations that are charged with preserving national monuments or historical buildings frequently commission “current state” scans to document conditions, then follow up with periodic scans - because comparisons of successive scans often reveal warning signs of deterioration before damage becomes outwardly apparent. Also, when a structure's site is prone to natural disasters (flood, earthquake, tornado), recorded scans can provide vital documentation in case the need arises for restoration efforts.
